SPECIAL THANKS

Kenny would like to give special thanks to the following Tupelo area musicians for everything they taught him over the years and inspiring him to be the musician that he is today:

Byron Nelson: Owner of Showboat Club who gave me a chance at the big stage and took care of me.

Jackie Johnson: from Fulton, MS taught me my first steel guitar licks on guitar.

Danny Strange: Helped me learn steel guitar licks on guitar. One of the best at it.

Bill Wilson: Drummer who got me in big bands and gave me a chance to grow with experience.

The late Eddie Slusher: Awesome lead guitar player who played at The Vapors in Memphis. I played under him at the Showboat Club in Tupelo back in the eighties. Eddie taught me alot.

Tony Hooper: Awesome lead guitar player who currently plays in Tupelo. I  played under him at the Blue Bayou and he taught me so much.

Raymond Webb: Piano player from Locust Hill area with a big heart who taught me so much on the piano. I really miss playing with him.

Spider Webb: The brother of Raymond Webb. One of the best solid foot drummer in the area.

Chris Cantrell: Owner of Hi-Ridge Recording and Publishing who gave me all of my studio experience. http://www.hiridgestudio.com/

The late Ray Harris: Ace Cannon's producer and manager who I had the pleasure of working with at Hi-Ridge Recording Studio. Personal friend of Chris Cantrell's.

Johnny Wiggington: Lead guitar player of The Morning Show band on channel 9 (WTVA) out of Tupelo. The only one I  trust to work on my guitar.

Tony Bain: Son of Buddy and Kay Bain of The Morning Show in Tupelo,  who contributed to my musical knowledge also. Great musician.

Ronnie Young: Bass player I played with at Blue Bayou and Showboat Club who taught me a lot about musical arrangements and how to listen for it.

Stump: I enjoyed playing the drums behind you at the Blue Bayou Club. You have great timing and good solid drumming.

Ricky Jolly: Good friend and bass player that I played with on occasion.

Morgan family: Who I also had the pleasure of playing with. I spent many Sundays at their home jammin with the musicians from around town. Very talented family out of Tupelo and who I highly respect as musicians.

For those interested, please visit www.michaeltwitty.com.  Michael is the son of the late Conway Twitty who is my mothers cousin.

My sincere thanks and gratitude to all that I have named above. Some of the great stage performers and studio musicians out there.

Your friend,

Kenny
